It’s an exciting time as your student takes the final steps toward becoming a Bronco — and you’re part of the process, too. When your student signs up for BroncoVenture Orientation, they can include you and any other family members who plan to attend.
Are you and your student on the same page?
Here are a few things to double-check:
- Confirm that your student’s sign-up for BroncoVenture was completed.
- Verify the Orientation dates before making travel arrangements — especially flights.
- Has your student checked their Pre-Arrival Checklist?
- For newly-admitted students starting in the Spring semester: First-Year, Transfer, and Non-Traditional Orientation is a 1-day program from 9 am – 3:30 pm.
Can Orientations be updated or canceled?
If plans have changed and your student is unable to attend their chosen Orientation program, they can reschedule to another open session. Likewise, if guest information needs to be updated, have your student follow the instructions below:
7 or more days from the program date: Go to the registration link in your email invitation and make your changes.
Less than 7 days from the program date: Call New Student Programs at (208) 426-1679 to discuss transferring your reservation and fees to another date, if space is available.
Payments and fees may be transferred to another program, but are not refundable outside of the reservation window.
